Encounter Africa’s iconic wildlife on thrilling game drives across Uganda’s spectacular national parks.
Wildlife Safaris
Deep in the heart of the Great Western Rift Valley, Uganda’s national parks offer a vast diversity of wildlife and truly spectacular landscapes. Varied and wildly beautiful, Uganda’s game viewing destinations are home to no fewer than ten species of primates, including the endangered mountain gorilla and chimpanzee, alongside the exotic black-and-white colobus monkey.
Game viewing safaris in Uganda are famous for leopards, majestic elephants, mysterious tree-climbing lions and magnificent Rothschild’s giraffes — one of the most endangered giraffe subspecies on Earth, found almost exclusively here. Game drives traverse a mosaic of ecosystems: sweeping savannah plains, riverine forests, papyrus wetlands, and the crater lakes of the Albertine Rift.
"Uganda is a fairy tale. You climb up a railway instead of a beanstalk, and at the top there is a wonderful new world." — Sir Winston Churchill, 1907
