3 Days Uganda Gorillas & Rwanda Golden Monkeys Safari

You are picked up from your hotel in Kigali at 8:30am for a city tour visiting Kimironko Market and the Genocide Memorial. After lunch, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda, crossing via the Katuna border and arriving in the evening.

Overnight: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge (mid-range)   Meals: Dinner

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters with packed lunch and water; briefing begins at 7:00am. Set off on your gorilla trek with ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas — this can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorillas' movement. After your hour with the gorillas and your packed lunch, transfer back to Rwanda via the Cyanika border, arriving in Musanze in the evening.

Overnight: Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (mid-range)   Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner

After an early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for briefing and golden monkey trekking. The procedure follows the same format as gorilla trekking but lasts only 3 to 5 hours. After the trek, return to the lodge to freshen up, then transfer to Kigali and proceed to the airport for your onward flight.
